First Post for You Both

Hello!

I hope you're both doing well. I put the picture up there because it's really beautiful. A butterfly is supposed to be a symbol of growth and beauty coming out of something completely different (caterpillars). I think you probably already know that. What do you think? You could suggest other pictures, and I'll put them up. If I see something beautiful online, I'll put it up here.

I wanted to write somewhere here so that you know even though I'm not nearby, you guys are in my thoughts and I'm praying for the amazing adults you will become (and for who you are becoming right now-- at school, at sport, in your immediate family, etc).

Nothing too much is happening in Boston. It's still really hot, so Eugene and I sleep in the lounge because it's cooler there. Eugene and I sometimes play Blokus (the game we played in mom and dad's house) and usually whoever goes first wins. There's not much space, though! I am also going to school again, from next week. At work I help people figure out how to adjust to living in the US-- how to get jobs, how to communicate, etc. I also test doctors on how well they know how to treat refugee patients. They are usually not used to having refugee patients, so they sometimes have problems. Refugees come from everywhere in the world.

Much love,
Jo

I read your letter Jo. Mom and I went to the park to fly a kite. I made the kite go so high that the string ran out.We are very well are you? Love Rebecca.
